Super easy and simple chicken broth recipe, let it set on the stove on simmer for 6 hours and it is done. A delicious and nutritious recipe versatile in many recipes.

Ingredients

  • 3 pounds of chicken bones

  • 3 quarts of water

  • 1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, garlic, onion, basil

  • 2 bay leaves

Directions

  • Add all your ingredients to a stockpot and simmer for 6 hours stirring occasionally. Strain out the chicken bones and enjoy nutritious chicken broth.

Notes

  • Keep the leftovers in the fridge for up to 5 days, freeze, or can.
  • If you have any leftover vegetables add them in the stockpot for more flavor.
