Ingredients
12 -15 pound turkey
8 tablespoons of melted butter (1 stick)
1 teaspoon of salt, pepper, garlic, paprika,
6 cups of water
Directions
- Preheat your oven to 450 degrees combine the butter and seasonings together and use a brush to spread all over the turkey. In the roasting pan add the water to the bottom of the pan and set your turkey in breast side up and set the lid on.

- Set the turkey in the oven and turn the heat down to 350 degrees. Take the turkey out every 45 minutes to baste the turkey with the broth at the bottom of the pan. Cook in total about 3 hours or until the meat hits 165 degrees. Let it rest for 30 minutes and carve.

- Leftovers can be in the fridge for up to 5 days or freeze.
