Super simple and easy teriyaki chicken with fried rice. Juicy chicken paired with fried rice is the perfect combination.

Ingredients

  • Fried Rice
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt, pepper, garlic, and onion

  • 1 1/2 cups of long grain rice

  • 3 cups of chicken broth

  • 2 tablespoons of teriyaki sauce

  • 3 eggs

  • Meat
  • 6 chicken thighs

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt, pepper, garlic, and onion

Directions

  • Fried Rice
  • Add olive oil to a pot with the seasonings and cook for 1 minute, add the rice and cook util golden. Pour in the chicken broth and cover with a lid for 20 minutes.
  • Once rice is done add it to a hot pan and mix in the eggs and teriyaki sauce cooking for about 5 minutes.
  • Meat
  • Cook the chicken about 7 minutes on one side and 5 minutes on the other, then add the teriyaki sauce and slice for plating.

  • Plate the rice and over top add the sliced chicken and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add some snow peas, peppers, mushrooms, green beans, or broccoli to add some more texture, this is a simple recipe for a base recipe, add your personal touch to it.
