Delicious sourdough waffles that are soft on the inside and crisp on the outside such a tasty breakfast. Our family eats these all the time, the kids love them!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup of sourdough discard

  • 1 egg

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon

  • 1 tablespoon of honey

  • 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda

Directions

  • Preheat the waffle maker. Add all of the ingredients to a bowl and mix together.
  • Pour about 3/4 cup of batter to the waffle maker and cook for 3-4 minutes and enjoy!

Notes

  • Add on butter, syrup, powdered sugar, fruit, pair it with fried chicken this recipe is so delicious!
  • If you have extra waffles stick them in the freezer to pull out in a hurry.
